Resource mobilisation

“I've worked with Sarah for a number of years. She has consistently added value to the quality of the proposals we’ve submitted. She has a very strong technical knowledge of SRHR. Her contribution is always of a very high standard and we really appreciate her flexibility.” |
Example: resource mobilisation
Since 2014, Sarah has provided support to IPPF on a large number of proposals which were submitted to institutional donors. Her role includes having an input to programme design, the theory of change and logframe. Sarah has written successful concept notes and worked closely with team members to strengthen draft proposals and ensure alignment with donor priorities. She has also edited donor reports. In early 2019, she edited and contributed to IPPF's Business Plan.
Reviewing draft submissions is an area where Sarah is able to bring her skills to bear. In 2014, she was commissioned by Plan UK to strengthen advocacy proposals – on behalf of the network Action for Global Health – which were then submitted to European and US donors. Her role was to edit, strengthen the draft submissions and provide advice. And in 2017, Sarah reviewed a draft proposal produced by ActionAid UK and provided expert input on advocacy and sexual and reproductive health and rights. She also reviewed the draft theory of change. See recent work for more examples of resource mobilisation. |
